852ORDINANCE NO. 852 AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING WATER RATES AND SEWER RATES IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFORE. WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Edgewater has held a public hearing for the purpose of a public discussion of the water rates and sewer rates, and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Board of the City of Edgewater Florida and Briley -Wild & Associates, the consulte"rd engineers of the City of Edgewater, concur with the proposed water rates and sewer rates, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the following water rates are hereby established for the City of Edgewater, Florida, to -wit: Minimum Monthly Bill $3. 00 for the first 3,000 gallons of water Rates for Water Useace in Excess of 3, 000 Gallons Minimum Residential - 55C per thousand gallons Commercial - 65C per thousand gallons SECTION 2. That a monthly sewer charge for residences in the City of Edgewater, Florida shall be $3.75 per month SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a special meeting of of said Council held on the 24th day of September, 1973. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
