845ORDINANCE NO. 85_
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 843, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFORE.
WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater has determined that
it will receive an estimated amount of revenue from the
state revenue sharing funds in the amount of $80,000.00
for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1973 and ending,
September 30, 1974, and
WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater, had not anticipated
the amount of revenue above mentioned in the estimated
revenue for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1973 and
ending September 309 1974, and therefore the City of
Edgewater deems it unnecessary to increase the millage for
the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1973 and ending
September 30, 1974, as was designated by Ordinance No. 843, and
WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater, is now desirous of
decreasing the millage rate as was determined by Ordinance
No. 843.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE. OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 843 is hereby repealed
and declared to be of no future force and effect.
SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict
herewith be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and
approval by the Mayor.

The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 17th
day of September, A.D. 1973.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the re-
quirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading
was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final
passage.
