AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO EXPEND FEDERAL REVENUE SHARING
FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF EIGHT THOUSAND
($8,000.00) DOLLARS FOR FIRE STATION CAPTIAL
EXPENDITURES AND TEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED
EIGHTY ($10,980.00) DOLLARS FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT
OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE EXPENDITURES IN THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, SAID FUNDS HAVING
BEEN PREVIOUSLY ALLOCATED INTO THESE CATEGORIES
SET FORTH ABOVE IN THE EDGEWATER REVENUE SHARING
FUND ACCOUNT, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the City of Edgewater, Florida has established that Eight
Thousand ($8,000.00) Dollars received during the period of January 1, 1973
through June 30, 1973 from Federal Revenue Sharing Funds being allocated
for Fire Station capital expenditures, and
W HEREAS , the City of Edgewater, Florida has established that Ten Thousand
Nine Hundred Eighty ($10,980.00) Dollars received during the above mentioned
period from said Revenue Sharing Funds Account be expended for Police
Department operation and maintenance expenditures, and
WHEREAS , the City of Edgewater is now desirous of expending these funds
for the Fire Station and the Police Department, respectively,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to expend an amount not to exceed Eight Thousand ($8,000.00) Dollars
allocated for Fire Station capital expenditures from the City of Edgewater
Federal Revenue Sharing Account for said Fire Station capital expenditure.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to expend an amount not to exceed Ten Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty
($10,980.00) Dollars allocated for Police Department operation and maintenance
expenditures from the City of Edgewater Revenue Sharing Fund Account for said
Police Department operation and maintenance expenditures.

SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances or Resolutions
or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a recessed regular meeting of
said Council held on the Hat day of June, A.D. 1973.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of
reading said Ordinance upon secondreading was waived and the Ordinance
was put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at
a recessed regular meeting of said Council held on the Hat day of June, A.D.
1973, and approved as provided by law; the vote of said Council upon roll call
being as follows:
