820ORDINANCE NO. 820
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE
OF MOBILE RADIO EQUIPMENT PURSUANT TO THE
CONTRACT AWARDED TO MOTOROLA BY THE STATE
OF FLORIDA AND PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO.
OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER; FLORIDA AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFORE.
WHEREAS, Motorola Company has been awarded a contract
with the State of Florida for mobile radio equipment and the City of
Edgewater by Resolution No. 463 has authorized the purchase
of items pursuant to state contract awards.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the expenditure of funds is hereby directed
and authorized for the purchase of a mobile radio unit by the City of
Edgewater, Florida. Said mobile radio unit being more particularly
described as follows:
Model No. T53BBNI 100, 45 Watt completely
solid-state mobile radio, one frequency, standard
squelch w/control head and microphone; 2 Channel
operadtion add, Scanner, 2 frequency, Gain Antenna
and installation.
Said purchase being in the amount of Nine Hundred Sixty Six and
50/100 ($966.50) Dollars.. Said purchase to be made from Motorola
Communications and Electronics, Inc., 3191 Maguire Blvd. Suite 210, Orlando, Fla.
SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
'SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a recessed meeting of the
regular meeting of said Council of April 2, 1973 held on the 3rd day of
April, A.D. 1973.

Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the
requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was
waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida at a recessed regular meeting of said Council held on the 3rd
day of April, 1973, and approved as provided by law; the vote of said
Council upon roll call being a s follows:
