810ORDINANCE NO. 810 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING MONIES FROM THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, FOR SETTLEMENT OF A LAWSUIT AGAINST THE CITY OF EDGEWATER BROUGHT BY HAROLD H. HALL, PROVIDING THE MANNER IN WHICH PAYMENT SHALL BE MADE, AND FURTHER PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That a check shall be drawn in the amount of Seven Hundred Fifty ($750.00) Dollars made payable to Harold H. Hall and Paul Bernardini in settlement of the lawsuit, Harold H. Hall vs. The City of Edgewater, Florida, said case now pending. Monies shall be and are hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City of Edgewater, Florida for payment of the aforementioned sum. SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a special meeting of the said Council held on the -? tk day of February, 1973. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
