807ORDINANCE NO.807 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION ONE (1) OF ORDINANCE NUMBER 651 TO REFLECT A NEW VACATION POLICY FOR EDGEWATER, FLORIDA AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the second sentence of Paragraph four (4) of Section One (1) of Ordinance Number 651 is hereby amended to read as follows: "If said police officer desires, he can carry the total number of vacation days accrued in one anniversary period over to the following anniversary period. But, during said following anniversary period, said police officer, shall be entitled to take no more than total number of vacation days that would accrue in one anniversary period during any particular vacation period in said following anniversary period and then any additional vacation leave accrued can be taken by said police officer three (3) months after the end of the first vacation period taken by said employee during said following anniversary period. SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on the I Sth day of January, A.D. 1973. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage. 15-d?
