804ORDINANCE NO.804
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION THREE OF
ORDINANCE NUMBER 661 PROVIDING FOR THE
COMPUTATION OF OVER TIME HOURS WORKED BY
PATROLMEN OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. A patrolm n shall be considered as flaving worked
over time when said patrolman works more than forty (40) hours per
week. Overtime pay for any patrolman shall be calculated by dividing
173 into said patrolynan's monthly salary to ascertain the rate of over
time pay per hour of over time worked.
SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Maya .
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the 3J day of January, A.D., 1973.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of
reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance
was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at a regular meeting of said Council held on the -IV day of January, 1973
