AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING
WILLIAM ALBERT RICKELMAN AS REGULAR PATROLMAN
FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY,
FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH HIS COMPENSATION FOR
SUCH OFFICE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
THEREFOR.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That William Albert Rickelman be and he is
hereby designated and appointed as a regular patrolman for the City
of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, with the duties and powers
and responsibilities as are set forth and provided for under the
Constitution and Laws of the State of Florida and the Charter and
Ordinances and Resolutions of the City of Edgewater, Florida, to
serve as such at the will of the City Council of said City.
SECTION 2. That the said William Albert Rickelman shall
be p►dd the sum of Five Hundred and no/100 ($500.00) Dollars per
month, with a ninety day probation period, said appointment being
effective the 18th day of December, 1972.
SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and
all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the C day of December, A.D.1972.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
