795ORDINANCE NO. 793
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A ONE DAY PERMIT TO
THE EDGEWATER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PARENT
TEACHERS ASSOCIATION FOR A TURKEY SHOOT ON
DECEMBER 9, 1972 BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 9:00
A.M. and 4:00 P.M. AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, the Edgewater Elementary Parent Teachers Association
has requested that the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florlda
grant them a permit for a turkey shoot on December 9, 1972 by letter
dated November 30, 1972.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA.
SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby grants a permit to
the Edgewater Elementary School Parent Teachers Association for a
turkey shoot on December 9, 1972 between the hours of 9 A.M. and
4:00 P.M.
SECTION 2. That the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida expects strict adherence to the November 30 letter of the
Parent Teachers Association of the Edgewater Elementary School in
regard to the safety measures mentioned in said letter.
SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and
all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting
of said Council held on the 4th day of December, A.D. , 1972.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement
of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the
Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
Passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 4th day of
December, 1972 and approved as provided by law; the vote of said
Council upon roll call being as follows:
