783o ORDINANCE NO. 783 AN ORDINANCE EMPLOYING AND APPOINTING WILLIAM L. ROSS, JR. AS MUNICIPAL JUDGE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH HIS TENURE, SETTING FORTH HIS SALARY, SETTING FORTH HIS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That William L. Ross, Jr. be and he is hereby employed and appointed as Municipal Judge for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, he to serve in said capacity at all times at the will of the City Council. Said appointment to be effective on the 7th day of October, 1972. SECTION 2. That the said William L. Ross, Jr., as Municipal Judge shall receive a salary of One Hundred Twenty -Five ($125. 00) Dollars per month. SECTION 3. That as Municipal Judge the said William L. Ross, Jr. , shall have such duties and powers and responsibilities as are set forth and provided for under the Constitution and Laws of the State of Florida and the Charter and Ordinances and Resolutions of the City of Edgewater, Florida. SECTION 4. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 2nd day of October, A.D., 1972. Upon motion duly made, second and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
