7824. ORDINANCE NO. 752. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A SALARY INCENTIVE PROGRAM FOR THE POLICE OFFICERS OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE REVENUE SHARING ACT OF 1972 OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA; SETTING FORTH THE AMOUNT OF ADDITIONAL MONTHLY SALARY TO BE PAID TO SAID POLICE OFFICERS, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That a salary incentive program is hereby, established in compliance with and according to the terms of the Revenue Sharing Act of 1972 of the State of Florida. SECTION 2 That the police officers of the City of Edgewater, Florida who are entitled to the benefits under the salary incentive program according to the terms of said Revenue Sharing Act shall be paid the sum of Twenty -Five ($25. 00) Dollars per month. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect retroactively to July 1, 1972. SECTION 4. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 2nd day of October, 1972. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was put upon final passage.
