777ORDINANCE NO. 777 AN ORDINANCE EMPLOYING AND APPOINTING ELIZABETH 1. CROUSER AS DEPUTY CITY CLERK FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH HER TENURE, SETTING FORTH HER COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE, SETTING FORTH HER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Elizabeth 1. Crouser be and she is hereby designated and appointed as Deputy City Clerk for the City of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida with the duties and powers and responsibilities as are set forth and provided for under the Constitution and Laws of the State of Florida and the Charter and Ordinances and Resolutions of the City of Edgewater, Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of the said City. SECTION 2. That the said Elizabeth J. Crouser shall be paid the sum of Three Hundred Fifty and no/100 ($350.00) Dollars per month during a probationary period of the first ninety days of said appointment. At the termination of said probationary period, said compensation shall be increased by the sum of Twenty -Five and no/100 ($25.00) Dollars per month. Said appointment is to be effective retroactively to the 31st day of August, 1972. SECTION 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon Its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of the said Council held on the -71-11 day of September, 1972. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was put upon final passage.
