AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE PROPERTY OF
JOHN J. SAUERS AND THERESE A. SAUERS AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, TO INCLUDE
THE NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY, AND PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR.
WHEREAS, John J. Sauers and Therese A. Sauers have on the
1st day of June, 1972, petitioned the City of Edgewater, to annex
the following described property, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edgewater has
determined that the names appearing on the above mentioned petition
represent all the owners of the property to be annexed.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the City of Edgewater hereby annexes the
property owned by John J. Sauers and Therese A. Sauers, more
particularly described as follows:
Lots 1 through 13, inclusive, Block "A", EDGEWATER PARK
SUBDIVISION, as per map recorded in Map Book 10, Page
154 of the Public Records of Volusia County, Florida;
and
The South 300 feet of U. S. Lot 7, Section 2, Township 18
South, Range 34 East, lying West of U. S. 1, excepting
therefrom one-half of the mineral rights as same are
reserved in Deed Book 311, Page 210, Public Records of
Volusia County, Florida; and excepting therefrom
right-of-way easement to the State of Florida as per that
Right-of-way Easement recorded in Deed Book 285, Page
125, Public Records of Volusia County, Florida.
SECTION 2. That the boundaries of the City of Edgewater are
lidINBy redefined to include the above described property.

SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage at second reading.
The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of
the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular
meeting of the said Council held on the 17th day of July, 1972.

Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held
on the 17th day of July, 1972, and approved as provided by law;
the vote of said Council upon roll call being as follows:
