759ORDINANCE NO. 759 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING THE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, A TEN PERCENT PAY RAISE, SETTING FORTH CERTAIN EXCEPTIONS, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA- SECTION 1. That the City of Edgewater, Florida, hereby approves and grants to the employees of the City of Edgewater, Florida a ten percent (10%) increase in the rate of pay received by said employees. SECTION 2 Section One (1) above shall not apply to the following: 1. City Attorney 2. Municipal Judge 3. Chief of Police and police officers of said City. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance is to be effective retroactively to the 1st day of July, 1972. SECTION 4. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a special meeting of the said Council held on the 13th day of July, 1972. n�9 O Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was put upon final passage.
