752C ORDINANCE NO. 752 AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING R. DAVID STACKHOUSE AS REGULAR PATROLMAN FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, SETTING FORTH HIS COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFOR. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That R. David Stackhouse be and he is hereby designated and appointed as a regular patrolman for the City of Edgewater; Volusia County, Florida, with the duties and powers and responsibilities as are set forth and provided for under the Constitution and Laws of the State of Florida and the Charter and Ordinances and Resolutions ofthe City of Edgewater, Florida, to serve as such at the will of the City Council of the said City. SECTION 2. That the said R. David Stackhouse shall be paid the sum of Five Hundred and no/100 ($500.00) Dollars per month, said appointment being effective retroactive to the 15th day of May, 1972. SECTION 3 That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor. The above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a special meeting of said Council held on the 23rd day of May, A.D. 1972. Upon motion duly made, seconded and carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put upon final passage.
