919ORDINANCE NO. 919 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 8 OF ORDINANCE 663 RELATING TO THE RATES TO BE CHARGED FOR CABLE TV SERVICE TO BE FURNISHED BY TELEPROMPTER, INC., THE SUCCESSOR OF TM COMMUNICATIONS COMPANY; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That paragraph (b) of Section 8 of Ordinance 663 is hereby amended to read as follows: (b) The Company's initial schedule of rates and charges is amended as follows: SCHEDULE OF SUBSCRIBER CHARGES TYPE OF SERVICE INSTALLATION MONTHLY CHARGE SERVICE 1. SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENT A. First TV Outlet $25.00 $7.50 B. Additional Outlet 7.50 2.00 C. F.M. Outlet (with first TV outlet) 7.50 2.00 D. Transfer to new home 7.50 E. Reconnect (former subscriber) 5.00 2. COMMERCIAL (Shops, banks, business offices, stores, etc.) A. First Outlet _ $25.00 $7.50 B. Second or more outlets 7.50 2.00 3. HOTELS -MOTELS -HOSPITALS (with master internal distribution system) A. First Outlet at cost $7.50 B. Two or more units 2.00 4. APARTMENT BUILDING AND CONDOMINIUMS A. Single family rates will prevail when service is provided and billed to each individual unit occupant with permission of owner -manager. B. Service provided under central billing plan based upon total number of units in complex whether occupied or not and paid monthly by manager -owner. A reduced rate will be offered. (b.l.) The Company shall not charge in excess of the above mentioned schedule. (b.2.) At no time will the Company require a customer to continue to receive or to pay for the service any longer than the customer may desire. (b.3.) That the rates provided herein shall be and become effective May 1, 1975. SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor at second reading. SECTION 4. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise this Ordinance as required by law. The first reading of the above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 13th day of March , 1975 and approved as provided by law.
