910ORDINANCE NO. 910
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF
ORDINANCE NO. 604 BY ADDING THE WORD
"VALID" IMMEDIATELY BEFORE THE WORD
"LICENSE" IN SAID SECTION, AND REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFORE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 604 is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"That an abandoned, junked or discarded motor
vehicle shall be defined for the purposes of this
Ordinance as a motor vehicle not bearing a valid
license plate issued by the State of Florida or any
other State for the then current year, irrespective
of whether said motor vehicle contains an engine.
SECTION 2. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all
Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the
same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption by the City Council and approval by the Mayor.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall advertise this Ordinance as
required by law.
The first reading of the above Ordinance was read in full and passed
by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a
regular meeting of said Council held on the 23rd day of
January , 1975, and approved as provided by law.
The second reading of this Ordinance to be at a regular meeting of
the City Council to be held on the day of1�y,
