O - C -7LI AN ORDINANCE SETTING A TENTATIVE BUDGET AND APPRO- PRIATING REVENUE TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE WATER/ WASTEWATER SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1980 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1981 TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE WATER/WASTEWATER SYSTEM BUDGET; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PRO- VIDING FOR PUBLICATION OF THIS ORDINANCE AND PROVID- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That the following amounts of monies are antici- pated to be collected from the sources of revenue of the Water/ Wastewater System of the City of Edgewater, Florida, during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1980 and ending September 30, 1981, to wit: Water/Wastewater System Fiscal Year 1980-1981 Water Tap In Fees $ 51,625.00 Wastewater Connections 4,500.00 Hydrant Rentals 7,000.00 Water Sales 279,500.00 Wastewater Sales 158,815.00 Utility Tax 149,600.00 Interest 4,500.00 Miscellaneous 1,218.89 Service Charges 100.00 Penalties 4,500.00 Water Turn -On Fees 3,500.00 Federal Revenue Sharing (WW) 21,382.00 TOTAL ANTICIPATED REVENUE $686,240.89 SECTION 2. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies to be collected from the sources of revenue as aforementioned the follow- ing are the estimated expenditures during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1980 and ending September 30, 1981, to wit: Operation & Maintenance $471,897.00 Principal & Interest 158,218.89 Capital Improvement Fund 56,125.00 TOTAL ANTICIPATED EXPENDITURES $686,240.89 SECTION 3. That a more detailed breakdown of the Water/Waste- water System revenue and operating fund is hereby attached to and made a part of this Ordinance. SECTION 9. That the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida, be and is hereby directed to apportion such revenue of the Water/Wastewater System of the City of Edgewater, Florida to the respective purposes as set forth in Section 2 hereof as and when the above described and designated revenues are received and collected. SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law. SECTION 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise this Ordinance as required by law. The first reading of the above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the Regular meeting of said Council held on the day of October, 1980, and approved as provided by law. The second reading of said Ordinance to be at a meeting of the City Council to be held on the day of 1980.
