AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 603.03(3), R-5A
MULTI -FAMILY DISTRICT; SECTION 603.02(3), R-5
MULTI -FAMILY DISTRICT; SECTION 607.01(4), R-4
MULTI -FAMILY DISTRICT; SECTION 606.03(3), B-4
TOURIST COMMERCIAL DISTRICT; SECTION 606.01(3),
B-2 NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT; SECTION
607.00(3), I-1 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT; SEC-
TION 607.01, I-2 HEAVY INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT AND
SECTION 607.02, I-3 INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT
BY REDUCING BUILDING HEIGHTS IN SAID ZONING
DISTRICTS; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL OR-
DINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR
ADVERTISEMENT OF THIS ORDINANCE BY THE CITY
CLERK AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 603.03(3), R-5A Multi -Family Zoning
District is hereby amended to read as follows:
Maximum building height: Four (4) stories,
provided where parking is located entirely
within the principal building or buildings
the height measurement shall be made from
the top story to the highest level of park-
ing.
SECTION 2. That Section 603.02(3), R-5 Multi -Family Zoning
District is hereby amended to read as follows:
Maximum building height: Four (4) stories,
provided where parking is located entirely
within the principal building or buildings
the height measurement shall be made from
the top story to the highest level of park-
ing.
SECTION 3. That Section 603.01(4), R-4 Multi -Family Zoning
District is hereby amended to read as follows:
(4) Maximum building height: Each building
shall not exceed two (2) stories or twenty-
six (26) feet.
SECTION 4.. That Section 606.03(3), B-4 Tourist Commercial
Zoning District is hereby amended to read as follows:
(3) Maximum building height: Four (4) stories.
SECTION 5. That Section 606.01(3), B-2 Neighborhood Business
Zoning District is hereby amended to read as follows:
(2) Maximum building height: Twenty-six (26) feet
or two (2) stories.

SECTION 6. That Section 607.00(3), I-1 Light Industrial
Zoning District is hereby amended to read as follows:
(3) Maximum building height: Shall be two (2)
stories or twenty-six (26) feet. Structures
above twenty-six (26) feet may be permitted as
a special exception in said district.
SECTION 7. That Section 607.01(3), I-2 Heavy Industrial
Zoning District:.is hereby amended to read as follows:
(3) Maximum building height: Shall be two (2)
stories or twenty-six (26) feet. Structures
above twenty-six (26) feet may be permitted as
a special exception in said district.
SECTION B. That Section 607.02, I-3 Industrial Park Zoning
District is hereby amended to read as follows:
Maximum building height: Shall be two (2) stories
or twenty-six (26) feet. Structures above twenty-
six (26) feet may be permitted as a special excep-
tion in said district.
SECTION 9. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all
Resolutions or parts of Resolutions of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
that are in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 10. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise
this Ordinance as required by law.
SECTION 11. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
The first reading of the above Ordinance was read in full and
passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida,
