79-O-29�. 4014 A_ ORDINANCE NO. 79-0-.7�( p7Fo AN ORDINANCE SETTING A TENTATIVE BUDGET AND APPROPRIATING REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1979, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1980, TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That from the aforesaid anticipated monies to be collected from the sources of revenue as aforementioned, the following are the estimated expenditures during the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1979, and ending September 30, 1980, to wit: GENERAL FUND ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES 1979 - 1980 City Council $ 33,638.00 Financial and Administration 94,042.00 Legal Counsel 16,105.00 Comprehensive Planning 28,067.00 Other Governmental Services (City Hall) 9,439.00 Law Enforcement 245,621.00 Fire Control 58,223.00 Protective Inspections 32,792.00 Emergency & Disaster Relief 3,115.00 Rescue (E.V.E.R.) 5,337.00 Road & Street Facilities 298,038.00 Library 1,900.00 Parks & Recreation 67,375.00 Special Recreation Facilities 5,605.00 Industrial Development Board 7,500..00 TOTAL ANTICIPATED EXPENDITURES $906,797.00 SECTION 3. That a copy of a more detailed breakdown of the General Fund Budget for each department is hereby attached and made a part of this Ordinance. SECTION 4. That the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, be and he is hereby directed to appropriate such anticipated revenue as set forth in Section 1, herein to the respective pur- poses set forth in Section 2, herein as and when the above -described and designated revenues are received and collected. SECTION 5. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances and all Resolutions or parts of Resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law. SECTION 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise this Ordinance as required by law. The first reading of the above Ordinance was read in full and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at the meeting of said Council held on the day of September, 1979, and approved as provided by law. - 2 - The second reading of said Ordinance to be at a meeting of the City Council to be held on the day of , 1979.
