AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 606.01(b) OF
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, BY ADDING MINIWARE-
HOUSES AS AN ADDITIONAL PERMITTED USE IN
THE B-2 NEIGHBORHOOD BUSINESS ZONING DISTRICT;
DEFINING THE TERM MINIWAREHOUSE; RESTRICT-
ING THE SIZE AND PERMITTED USE OF MINIWARE-
HOUSES; ADDING CERTAIN LANGUAGE TO PROFESSIONAL
OFFICES AS A PERMITTED USE IN THE B-2 NEIGHBOR-
HOOD BUSINESS ZONING DISTRICT; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Section 606.01(b) of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Edgewater, Florida, is hereby amended by adding miniwarehouses
as an additional permitted use in the B-2 Neighborhood Business Zoning
District.
SECTION 2. That the term "miniwarehouse" is hereby defined as
follows:
Miniwarehouse: A structure or part of a structure, not exceed-
ing ten (10) feet in height, ten (10) feet in width, or twenty (20)
feet in length, or a total cubic capacity of two thousand (2, 000)
cubic feet, for storing goods, wares, and merchandise,
whether for the owner or for others, and whether it is a
public or private warehouse.
SECTION 3. That miniwarehouses shall be used solely for storage
purposes. The retail or wholesale sale of any goods, wares, or merchan-
dise or any type of service business of whatsoever description, is abso-
lutely prohibited.
SECTION 4. That the term "professional offices" including accountants,
architects, consultants, dentists, engineers, financial, insurance, lawyers,
medical, and stockbrokers is hereby amended to read as follows:
Professional offices and general offices, including but not limited
to the following professions and businesses: accountants, archi-

tects, consultants, dentists, engineers, financial, insurance,
lawyers, medical, and stockbrokers.
SECTION 5. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all
resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
SECTION 7. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise this
Ordinance as required by law.
The first reading of the above Ordinance is read in full and passed
by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the day of 1979,
and approved as provided by law.
