Katez Absent Absent Present Present Present Present Present Absent Present APPROVAL OF MINUTES NONE BILLS & ACCOUNTS NONE OFFICERS REPORTS NONE COMMUNICATIONS NONE PROCLAMATIONS NONE RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION NO 463 A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO PURCHASE ITEMS UPON WHICH THE STATE OF FLORIDA HAS RECEIVED BIDS AND WHICH CAN BE PURCHASED BY LOCAL GOVERNMENT ENTITIES WITHIN THE STATE OF FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THEREFORE. The above Resolution was read in full by Ci,ty Attorney Joseph Weaver. Councilman Bevel duly made a motion to adopt said Resolution being seconded by Councilman Clinton. Upon roll call vote said motion CARRIED. ORDINANCE ORDINANCE NO 820 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF MOBILE RADIO EQUIPMENT PURSUANT TO THE CONTRACT AWARDED TO MOTOROLA BY THE STATE OF FLORIDA, AND PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NO. 463 OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE THEREFORE. 1. ;I " . .. I \ o o The above Ordinance was read in full by City Attorney Joseph Weaver. Councilman Clinton duly made a motion to adopt said Ordinance, being seconded by Councilman Bevel. Upon roll call vote said motion CARRIED. A motion to.waive the second reading was duly made by Councilman Clinton being ~econded by Councilman Bevel. Upon roll call vote said motion CARRIED. MISCELLANEOUS Councilman Clinton asked what our intentions are on the paving project at the new fire complex. Acting Mayor Severance said he personally wanted a written legal opinion from the City Attorney, stating if we could not use the Emergency & Contingency funds for the paving project. Attorney Weaver said he would research the item and have an opinion ready by April 12, 1973 workshop meeting. A brief discussion followed on the feasability of paving a portion of the parking area now and a portion later in the new budget. City Attorney stated all factors considered, a temporary situation so they can get the trucks in and out would be the most feasable. Councilman Bevel asked the City Attorney to write a follow up letter to the County Council with copies to county manager and all Councilman regarding the City Barn property.
