MISCELLANEOUS
Councilman Clinton asked what our intentions are on the paving
project at the new fire complex. Acting Mayor Severance said he
personally wanted a written legal opinion from the City Attorney,
stating if we could not use the Emergency & Contingency funds
for the paving project. Attorney Weaver said he would research the
item and have an opinion ready by April 12, 1973 workshop meeting.
A brief discussion followed on the feasability of paving a portion
of the parking area now and a portion later in the new budget.
City Attorney stated all factors considered, a temporary situation
so they can get the trucks in and out would be the most feasable.
Councilman Bevel asked the City Attorney to write a follow up
letter to the County Council with copies to county manager and
all Councilman regarding the City Barn property.
