daily fines would start on March 1, 2018.

Oscar Cabrera was present and testified. The permit expired in 2006.
Special Magistrate James Stokes stated he can obtain a permit or remove the structure. Special
Magistrate finds in violation and access the $75.00 fine; daily fines will start on February 14, 2018 of
$50.00 per day for each day the violation exist. Need to pull a permit by February 23, 2018 and to
come into compliance.

Special Magistrate James Stokes read the following cases and concluded with it appears after
reviewing these cases that no one was present for any of the cases read. Pursuant to Section 10348
and 10-345 subparagraph C 11 of the Code of Ordinance and the statement that appears on the
respective citation issued that failure to appear at he hearing means the alleged violator has waived
any right to contest the violation and that an order can be made for the maximum applicable
penalties that include but are not limited to administrative costs, fines, daily fines and liens.
However, we have the benefit of the staff recommendations, the Special Magistrate shall entertain
motions and take whatever actions are deemed appropriate.
