SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FWRIDA HELD JANUARY 9TH, 1963
The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida held January 9th, 1963 was ~alled to order by Mayor A.
Hussey at 6:30 P.M.

The Meeting was called for the purpose of hiring a new attorney.
Motion duly made by Councilman Palmateer that an ordinance be drawn
up to the effect that Mr. Louis Ossinsky, Sr. be appointed as Attorney
of the City of Edgewater as of January 9th, 1963, seconded by
Councilman Drury and by vote CARRIED.
Councilman Siller asked Mr. Ossinsky if he had read the City Charter.
Mr. Ossinsky said he had read the charter but not in the last couple
of weeks.
Councilman Siller stated that one of our previous attorneys charged
the City an enormous amount of money for things he did for the City
that he felt should have been covered in his retainer.
Mr. Ossinsky said he would discuss this with the Council. He said
he had been City Attorney in a number of places and that his policy
was always to discuss this with the Council.

Mr. Ossinsky thanked the Council for the confidence they have placed
in him.
There being no further business motion duly made by Councilman Palmateer
we now adjourn, seconded by Councilman Siller and by vote CARRIED.
