Jones Deputy City Clerk Marie Robinson Present Absent Absent Present Present Absent Present Present Mayor Armstrong anno\.U1ced that CO\.U1cilman Siller and CO\.U1cilman Tingle could not be present at this meeting but said they called and were agreeable to the new appointment of a city attorney. Purpose of Heeting: Termination of Ordinance Number 373 "An ordinance designating and appointing a City Attorney for the City of Edgewater, Vblusia C01ll'lty, Florida, and setting forth compensation for such office" and Appointment of a city attorney and setting forth compensation for such office. ORDINANCES ORDINANCE NUMBER 424 TERMINATING SERVICES OF PRE3ENT CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING FORTH COMPENSATION DUE FOR SUCH OFFICE TO TERMINATION DATE. The above ordinance 1~S read in full by City Clerk Helen \.1. Jones and motion duly made by C01ll'lcilman Cairnie this ordinance be adopted, seconded by CO\.U1cilman Ridgdill and passed by vote of the City CO\.U1cil of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the special meeting of said cO\.U1cil held October 28th, 1961~. The roll call vote of those present was \.U1animous. Upon motion duly made by CO\.U1cilman Cairnie, seconded by CO\.U1cilman Ridgdill the requirement of reading Ordinance upon second reading was waived' and the Ordinance was ordered put into effect immediately at the Special Meeting of the said CO\.U1cil held on the 28th day of October, A.D. 1964 and approved as provided by ] aw. The vote of those present was 1ll'lanimous. ORDINANCE NUMBER 425 DESIGNATING AND APPOINTING A CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF EDGEW'ATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND SETTING FORTH COMPENSATION FOR SUCH OFFICE. The above ordinance was read in full by City Clerk Helen W. Jones and motion duly made by C01ll'lcilman Ridgdill this ordinance be adopted, seconded by CO\.U1cilman Cairnie and passed by vote of the City CO\.U1cil of the City of Edgewater, Florida at'the Special Meeting of said CO\.U1cil held October 28th, 1964. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous. / Upon motion duly made by CO\.U1cilman Cairnie, seconded by C01ll'lcilman Ridgdill the requirement of reading Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put into effect irranediately at the Special Meeting of the said CO\.U1cil held on the 28th day of October, A.D. 1964 and approved as provided by law.
