be tabulated this weekend. A reconunendation would be made Monday. A
tentative award will be made at that time. A tabulation of the bids will

Motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie the City Clerk be authorized to give duplicate
copies of the above bids to Briley, Wild & Associates so they can tabulate the figures
and make recommendation to the Council on Monday Night, seconded by Councilman Tingle
and by vote CARRIED. The Roll crall vote was unanimous.
Two bids for interim financing of water improvements and sewer project were opened.
Councilman Ridgdill questioned as to whether there was a motion made at any time
to get bids from two different banks on this interim financing.
Mayor Armstrong said a motion was made and passed with Councilman Ridgdill voting
"Nay".
The First National Bank of New Srnwrna Beach said, in a letter, it was prepared
to handle this loan on the interim financing at the rate of 3.55% interest, said
interest to be on a simple interest basis and to be collected only on the
funds as they are drawn and outstanding. This bid further includes all attorney's
fees, closing costs, etc. which will be concerned with this type of loan.
The Bank of New Smyrna, New Smyrna Beach, Florida said, in a letter, they will
provide financing, or interim financing, in connection with this proposal which is
designated as Housing and Home Finance Agency, Project No. PFL Florida - 672, to
a ~ amount of $700,000. These funds will be advanced as they are needed
or in whatever manner that they are required by the City of Edgewater, and at
an interest rate of 2.95% per annum simple interest based on the funds as advanced.
Mayor Armstrong said decisions will be made at our next meeting, Monday, May 4th, 1964
on all the above matters.
.There being no,further business, motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie we now
adjourn, seconded by Councilman Siller and there were no objections.
