SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA
COUNTY, FLORIDA HELD MARCH 26m, 1964
The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
held March 26th, 1964 was called to order by Mayor Dana T. Armstrong at
7:30 P.M.
The purpose of the meeting was to give authorization to advertise for
bids on construction of Sanitar.y Sewerage System and Water Plant
Improvements, and to read Mayor's Proclamation.

Torn Groover, from Briley, Wild & Associates,' was 'present at this meeting.
Attorney Clark told the Council the revenue bonds totaling $1,692,000
for the Water Plant Improvements Project and Sanitary Sewerage System
were validated 'in Circuit Court'this morning before Judge Horace D.
Riegle at Holly Hill Law Center. There were no objections to the
validation of the Bonds.
RESOLUTION
RESOWTION NUMBER 37 AUTHORIZING ADVERTISEMENT FOR moo FOR FURNISHING
ALL PLANT, LABOR, MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION OF THE
WATER PLANT IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT AND SANITARY SEWERAGE PROJECT FOR THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA.
The above resolution was read in full by Attorney Clark and motion duly
made by Councilman Siller this resolution be adopted, seconded by
Councilman Cairnie and passed by vote of the City Council of the City
of Edgewater, Florida at the Special Meeting of the said Council
held this 26th day of March, A.D. 1964. The Roll Call vote was imanimous.
Mayor's Proclamation declaring the week beginning April 6th, 1964
as Clean-Up Week in the City of Edgewater, Florida, was read.
Mayor Armstrong announced a Special Meeting would be held at 4:00 P.M.
April 30th, 1964 to open bids.
Motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie we now adjourn, seconded by
Councilman Tingle and there were no objections.
