RESOLUTIONS RESOLUTION NUMBER 85 DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE PRIMARY ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, ON THE 19TH DAY OF OCTOBER, A.D. 1965. The above Resolution was read in full by City Clerk Helen W. Jones and motrLon duly made by Councilman Cairnie this resolution be adopted, seconded by Councilman Ridgdill and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the recessed meeting of the said Council held this 20th day of October, A.D. 1965. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous. Motion duly made by Councilman Ridgdill we re-appoint the entire election board for the November 2nd election, seconded by Councilman Tingle. Cliff Mosher, who was on the election board, said he could not serve on November 2nd as he is on the State Election Board. The Council agreed to let Mrs. Ethel A. Wasserott take Mr. Mosher's place on the Board. Mayor Armstrong expressed his appreciation to the entire Election Board as to the fine way they conducted their job. RESOLUTION NUMBER 86 APPOINTING AN ELECTION CLERK, INSPECTORS AND A SPECIAL OFFICER FOR THE GENERAL F.LECTION TO BE HELD IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA ON NOVEMBER 2ND, 1965. The above Resolution was read in full by City Clerk Helen \'1. Jones and motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie this resolution be: adopted, seconded by Councilman Tingle and passed by vote of the City Council hf the City of Edgewater, Florida at the recessed meeting of the said Council held this 20th day of October, A.D. 1965. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous. Motion duly made by Councilman Ridgdill each member of the Election Board be paid $12.50 and the alternate, Mrs. Ethel A. Wasserott, be paid $5.00 for attending the Election School of Instruction and for being on stand-by if needed, seconQed by Councilman Cairnie and by vote CARRIED. RESOLUTION NUMBER 87 rDECLARING THE NOMINEES FOR THE OFFICE OF MAYOR AND COUNCILMEN OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA TO BE ELECTED AT A REGULAR ELECTION TO BE HELD ON NOVEMBER 2ND, A.D. 1965, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PREPARATION AND PRINTING OF BALLOTS FOR SAID ELECTION. The above Resolution was read in full by City Clerk Helen W. Jones and motion duly made by Councilman Ridgdill this resolution be adopted, seconded by Councilman Cairnie and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgeater, Florida at the recessed meeting of the said Council held this 20th day of October, A.D. 1965. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous. ORDINANCE ORDINANCE NUMBER 453 AMENDING SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 422, THE SAME BEING AN ORDINANCE APPRORIATING REVENUES TO BE COLLECTED FOR THE CITY OF EDGEl'IATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING NOVEMBER 1, 1964, AND ENDING OCTOBER 31, 1965, TO THE VARIOUS ITEMS OF THE CITY BUDGET. The above ordinance was read in full by City Clerk Helen vl.Jones and motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie this ordinance be adopted, seconded by Councilman Ridgdill and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the recessed meeting of said Council held October 20th, 1965. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous. Upon motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie, seconded by Councilman Ridgdill the requirement of reading Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the ordinance was ordered put into effect immediately at the Recessed Meeting of the said Council held on the 20th day of October, A.D. 1965, and approved as provided by law. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous. There being no further business, motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie we now adjourn, seconded by Councilman Tingle and tpere'were no objections.
