OLD BUSINESS
Mayor Armstrong announced that at a Special Meeting on Friday Night the
Council opened bids on an electric generator.
A letter was read from Briley, Wild & Associates dated April 5th, 1965
stating that the low bid of M. D. Hoody and Sons, Inc., on the air-cooled
unit varies from the specifications with respect (1) the voltage regulation
wi thin 5% plus or minus rather than the 3% plus or minus specified and
(2) there are no fenders on the trailer. These deficiencies, however,
are not considered serious enough to warrant the rejection of this bid and it
is therefore recommended that the bid of M. D. Moody and Sons, Inc., in the
amount of $2,080.00 for the air-cooled unit be tentativelY accepted subject
to the concurrence of the HHFA.
Motion duly made by Councilnan Siller \-1e accept the recommendation of our Engineers,
Briley, Wild & Associates, and tentatively accept the low bid of $2,080.00
from M. D. Moody and Sons, Inc. and forward to the Government for their
approval, seconded by Councilman Cairnie and by vote CARRIED. The roll call
vote was unanimous.

Program, seconded by Councilman Siller and by vote CARRIED. The roll call
vote was unanimous.

Councilman Tingle ques tioned as to the large pile of dirt l-iax Ma.~sey has
on his property. Mr. Tingle said mny people had asked him about this.
Mr. ~Bonde said his sewer line goes right down by his driveway and he has
been sick and hasn't had a time to put in his sewer line. The dirt will
be removed as soon as he does put in the se\-1er line.
Mr. Aladar Butter, Mango Tree Drive, complained about the speeders in Florida
