Florida. Elsie.L. Ward, City Clerk. administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected Mayor, Earl L. Tingle. Mayor Tingle said he would run the City in a courteous and dignified manner and work for the best intere~t of the City of Edgewater. He said we have a beautiful City with 9reat possibilities. ORDINANCE ORDINANCE NUMRER 516 AUTHORIZING ACCESS OF MAYOR TO SAFE DEPOSIT BOX AND BANK ACCOUNT OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. The above Ordinance was read in full by City Attorney Charles Hall and motion duly made by Councilman Walls this ordinance he adopted, seconded by Councilman Cairrie ~nd p~ssed by vote 6f~!he City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at the recessed meeting of the said Council held September 14th, 1966. The roll call vote was unanimous. Upon motion duly made by Councilman Walls, seconded by Councilman Cairnie the requirement of reading Ordinance upon second reading was waived and the Ordinance was ordered put into effect immediately at the recessed meeting of the said Council held September 14th, 1966. The roll call vote was unanimous. Councilmen Lodico, Cairnie, Walls and Bebbington wished Mayor Tingle success in the Office of Mayor. They said they have a good working council and will cooperate fully with the Mayor.
