COMMUNICATIONS A letter was read from Lilian Straub, 110 Riverside Terrace, dated August 1st, 1966 resigning from the position of dispatcher in the Police Department. The resignation is effective August 15th, 1966 or just as quickly as you can hire some one to take her' tour of duty. Motion duly made by Councilman Bebbington we accept the resignation of Lilian Straub as Police Dispatcher, seconded by Councilman Cairnie and by vote CARRIED. The roll call vote was unanimous. ORDINANCES ORDINANCE NUMBER 499 TERMINATING SERVICES OF A PATROLMAN FOR THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA. The roll call vote was unanimous. Councilman Walls asked the City Attorney if there would have to be another election if one of the candidates received over 51% of the Primary Vote. Attorney Hall said there would have to be another election.
