01-22-1966 - Special JI u o o 'I U SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA HELD JANUARY 22ND, 1966 The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida was called to order by Mayor Dana T. Armstrong at 9:00 A.M. on January 22nd, 1966 in the Mayor's Office. ROLL CALL Mayor Dana T. Armstrong Councilman Jacob Lodico Councilman William H. Cairnie Councilman Paul F. Walls Councilman Philip H. Bebbington City Clerk Helen W. Jones Present Present Present Present Present Present The Purpose of the Meeting was to accept bid on a new police car and reject all others. A Committee consisting of Councilman Bebbington, Councilman Lodico and Police Chief Herman Witmeyer checked the two bids received on the Police Car. They reported the Ford bid was about $70 less and had more features. They recommended the Council purchase the car from Watkins Ford. The two bids received on the Police Car were as follows: Watkins Ford, Inc. $1,590.00 Nieburger Chevrolet Co. $1,665.11 Motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie we accept the bid of Watkins Ford, Inc. in the amount of $1,590.00 and reject all other bids, seconded by Councilman Walls and by vote CARRIED. The roll call vote was unanimous.
