SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EDGEHATER, FLORIDA
HELD DECE~rnER 27TH, 1965
The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
was called to order by Mayor Dana T. Armstrong at 9:00 A.M. on December 27th, 1965
in the Mayor's Office.

The purposes of the meeting were as follows:
Authorize and direct the Mayor to send letter to
the City of New Smyrna Beach regarding the cancellation
of the Power Contract.
Pass Resolution designating the City of Edgewater to
contract and agree to enter into an agreement with the
Florida East Coast Railway Company for public crossing
on Flagler Avenue.
Mayor Armstrong read the letter he planned on sending to the City Commission
in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.
Motion duly made by Councilman Bebbington we authorize and direct the ~~yor
to send letter to the City of New Smyrna Beach giving official notice on the
cancellation of the Power Contract and to offer $150,000.00 for the Distribution
Facilities until January 15th, 1966, seconded by Councilman Lodico and by vote
CARRIED. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous.
RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION ~1n1BER 103 DESIGNATING THE CITY OF EDG~~ATER TO CONTRACT AND AGREE
TO ENTER INTO AN AGREENENT WITH THE FLORIDA EAST COAST RAILWAY COMPANY.
The above resolution was read in full by City Clerk Helen W. Jones and motion
duly made by Councilman Cairnie this resolution be adopted, seconded by Councilman
Bebbington and ,passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at the special meeting of the said Council held this 27th day of December, A.D. 1965 .
The roll call vote of those present was unanimous.
Motion duly made by Councilman Bebbington we now adjourn, seconded by Councilman
Lodico and there were no objections.
