RECESSED MEETING OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA HELD NOVIDffiER 3RD, 1965
The Recessed Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
was called to order by Mayor Dana T. Armstrong at 10:30 A.M. on November 3rd, 1965
in the Mayor's Office.

Present
City Clerk Helen W. Jones read a certification that all absentee ballots were received
by 5:00 P.M. on November 1st, 1965.
City Clerk Helen W. Jones read a list of all the absentee ballots applied for. Some were
not returned.
One Absentee ballot came in a day late and could not be accepted.
The entire election board canvassed the election ballots.
RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION NUMBER 89 DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE REGULAR ELECTION HELD IN
THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA, ON THE 2ND DAY OF
NOVEMBER, A.D. 1965 AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE
OF ELECTION TO THE CITY OFFICERS CHOSEN AT SAID ELECTION
The above Resolution was read in full by City Clerk Helen W. Jones and motion
duly made by Councilman Ridgdill this resolution be adopted, seconded by Councilman
Cairnie and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
at the recessed meeting of the said Council held this 3rd day of November, A.D.
1965. The roll call vote of those present was unanimous.
Motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie we pay the members of the Election Board
$12.50 per person, seconded by Councilman Tingle and by vote CARRIED. The roll call
vote ':.-of those present was unanimous.
Mayor Armstrong, on behalf of the whole Council, complimented the Election Board
on the fine job they did at yesterdays election.
Motion duly made by Councilman Cairnie th~s meeting be recessed until 7:30 P.M.
this evening, seconded by Councilman Ridgdill and by vote CARRIED. The roll call
vote of those present was unanimous.
