A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, SUNSETTING THE
ENVIRONMENTAL ADVISORY BOARD; THANKING
ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS FOR THEIR PAST
ADVISORY SERVICE; REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the City Council has determined that the powers and duties given to the
Environmental Advisory Board fall within the purview of Staff; other City Advisory Boards, and
local, State and Federal agencies; and
WHEREAS,to provide for greater efficiency the City Council desires to sunset and
dissolve the City's Environmental Advisory Board (the "Advisory Board); and
WHEREAS,the City Council wants to ensure that Advisory Board mem bers-are�given
appropriate thanks and appreciation for their past advisory service;and
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City'of
Edgewater, Florida: r „-
Section 1.The Environmental Advisory Board shall be sunsetted and dissolved.
Section 2.The members of the Advisory Board are given thanks and appreciation for
their service to the City of Edgewater.
Section 3.All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4.This resolution shall take effect upon adoption.
