SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA HELD
JUNE 22nd, 1967
The Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida held June 22nd, 1967 was called to order by Mayor William
H. Cairnie at 7:00 P.M. in the Mayor's office.
The meeting was called by Mayor Cairnie for the following purposes:
Pass Ordinance awarding bid for fire hydrants.
Pass Ordinance awarding bid for a dragline.
Pass Ordinance awarding bid for concrete pipe.
Pass Ordinance awarding bid for carpet and tile for Library.
Motion for Briley-Wild to proceed with preparation of plans
and specifications for work outlined in letter of June 6,1967.

ORDINANCE NO. 554 ACCEPTING THE BID OF M & H VALVE AND FITTINGS
COMPANY OF ANNISTON, ALABAMA FOR SEVENTEEN (17) FIRE HYDRANTS.
The above Ordinance was read in full by City Attorney Hall and motion
duly made by Councilman Bebbington this Ordinance be adopted, seconded
by Councilman Walls and passed by vote of the City Council of the
City of Edgewater, Florida at the special meeting of the said Council
held June 22nd, 1967. The roll call vote was unanimous.
Upon motion duly made by Councilman Walls, seconded by Councilman
Bebbington, the requirement of reading ordinance upon second reading
was waived and the ordinance was ordered put into effect immediately
at the special meeting of the City Council held June 22nd, 1967.
The roll call vote was unanimous.
ORDINANCE NO. 555 ACCEPTING THE BID OF STATE TRACTOR AND EQUIPMENT
COMPANY, INC. OF ORLANDQ,FLORIDA FOR A DRAGLINE, AS PER SPECIFICATIONS,
FOR THE SUM OF $16,945.00
The above Ordinance was read in full by City Attorney Hall and motion
duly made by Councilman Lodico this Ordinance be adopted, seconded by
Councilman Walls and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida at the special meeting of said Council held June 22nd,
1967. The roll call vote was unanimous.
Upon motion duly made by Councilman Walls, seconded by Councilman
Bebbington, the requirement of reading ordinance upon second reading
was waived and the ordinance was ordered put into effect immediately
at the special meeting of the City Council held June 22nd, 1967. The
roll call vote was unanimous.

ORDINANCE NO. 556 ACCEPTING THE BID OF ALLIED PRODUCTS COMPANY OF
EAU GALLIE, FLORIDA FOR 170 FEET OF 24 INCH REINFORCED CONCRETE
PIPE FOR THE SUM OF $668.10.
The above Ordinance was read in full by City Attorney Hall and motion
duly made by Councilman Bebbington this Ordinance be adopted, seconded
by Councilman Walls and passed by vote of the City Council of the City
of Edgewater, Florida at the special meeting of said Council held June
22nd, 1967. The roll call vote was unanimous.
Upon motion duly made by Councilman Walls, seconded by Councilman
Bebbington, the requirement of reading ordinance upon second reading
was waived and the ordinance was ordered put into effect immediately
at the special meeting of the City Council held June 22nd, 1967. The
roll call vote was unanimous.
ORDINANCE NO. 557 ACCEPTING THE BID OF LUCIUS CLARK FLOOR COVERING OF
NEW SMYRNA BEACH, FLORIDA FOR CARPETING AND TILE FOR THE NEW P.OBCIC
LIBRARY OF EDGEWAIER, FLORIDA.
The above Ordinance was read in full by City Attorney Hall and motion
duly made by Councilman Walls this Ordinance be adopted, seconded by
Councilman Bebbington and passed by vote of the City Council of the
City of Edgewater, Florida at the special meeting of said Council
held June 22nd, 1967. Mayor Cairnie voted nay, Councilman Mosher
abstained, and the remaining Councilmen voted yea.
Upon motion duly made by Councilman Walls, seconded by Councilman
Bebbington, the requirement of reading ordinance upon second reading
was waived and the ordinance was ordered put into effect immediately
at the special meeting of the City Council held June 22nd, 1967. The
roll call vote was unanimous.
Motion was duly made by Councilman Walls for Briley-Wild to proceed with
preparation of plans and specifications for work on the Edgewater
Municipal Water and Sewer plants and systems as outlined in their
letter of June 6th, 1967. Councilman Mosher seconded the motion and
by vote CARRIED. The roll call vote was unanimous.
There being no further business, motion duly made by Councilman Walls
we adjourn, seconded by Councilman Bebbington with no objections.
