SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA
HELD MAY 4th. 1967
The Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida
held May 4th, 1967 was called to order by Vice Mayor Jacob Lodico at 7:30
P.M. in the Mayor's office.
The meeting was called by Vice Mayor Lodico for the following purposes:
To reject all bids received May 1, 1967 on a Grader.
To make motion to re-advertise for a Grader.
To make motion to transfer funds to Community Center.
To make motion to appropriate money to Fire Department
for 4th of July fireworks.

ORDIANCE NUMBER 545 REJECTING BIDS ON GRADER.
The above Ordinance was read in full by City Attorney Hall and motion
duly made by Councilman Walls this ordinance be adopted, seconded by
Councilman Bebbington and passed by vote of the City Council of the City
of Edgewater, Florida at the special meeting of the said Council held
May 4th, 1967. The roll call vote was unanimous.
Upon motion duly made by Councilman Bebbington, seconded by Councilman
vlalls the requirement of reading ordinance upon second reading was waived
and the ordinance was ordered put into effect immediately at the Special
meeting of the City Council held May 4th, 1967. The roll call vote was
unanimous.
Councilman Walls made a motion, seconded by Councilman Bebbington, that
the City Clerk be authorized to re-advertise for bids on a Grader. Bids
to be received by 4:00 P.M. May 15th, 1967. Specifications to be avail-
able at City Hall. The roll call vote was unanimous.
Councilman Walls made a motion that $500 be transferred to the Community
Center for operating expenses. The motion was seconded by Councilman
Bebbington and by vote CARRIED.
A letter was read from the Edgewater Volunteer Fire Department requesting
$400 to be used toward the purchase of fireworks for the Fourth of July.
Councilman Bebbington made a motion that we donate $350 toward the pur-
chase of fireworks for the Fire Department, seconded by Councilman Walls
with the stipulation if any money was left over it would be returned to
the City. The roll call vote was unanimous.
There being no further business, Councilman Bebbington made a motion that
we adjourn, seconded by Councilman Walls.
