Councilman Cairnie said there was a report in one of the
newspapers that we hada Special Audit. He asked that this
be clarified by the Auditor.
The Auditor said there was no Special Audit.
Councilman Walls said the Auditor did help us to determine the
cash assets of the City.
Mayor Tingle: This money we have has been accumulating over
the last few years. We~ve been holding this money from year
to year and still increasing the millage. I have always voted
for reducing the millage. This money we have should have been
used to keep up the City Equipment.
Motion duly made by Councilman Walls we accept the Audit Report,
seconded by Councilman Bebbington and by vote CARRIED. The
roll call vote was unanimous.
The Council complimented the auditor for the fine report.
NEW BUSINESS

new tank for the fire department; Fire Chief will draw up
the specifications; Bids to be in by 4:00 P.M. January l6th,1967
at City Hall, seconded by Councilman Walls.
Councilman Walls satd the reason for this motion is that the
fire truck has big holes in it and the water leaks out. It has
been welded and patched together so many times. Now it is
necessary to run a garden hose into the tank to keep it full.
The roll call vote was unanimous.
