The special meeting of the City Council of the City of Edgewater,
Florida was called to order by Mayor William H. Cairnie at 2:00
P.M. March 3, 1969.
The purpose of the meeting was to open bids for the lighting of
the Recreation Area.

Councilman Dimm: Can you yse the lights anywhere else?
Councilman Diezt: Yes
Mayor Cairnie asked if they really wanted to get the lights.
the all said yes.
Mayor Cairnie: I don't think we should get them because they
are going to cost the City too much money. I think that before
we make a final decission we should have all the Councilmen and
the Recreation Association Committee here. We have no budget
for this project.
Councilman Dietz: Tonight 1111 put this on the floor. Mrs.
Ward will you put this on the agenda for tonight so we may
put this before the public?
Mrs. Ward: Yes.
A Motion was duly made by Councilman Dietz, second by Councilman
Dimm to table the bids until tonights or March 3rd,1969 Council
Meeting and then for them to be brought up for discussion. The
motion by roll call vote CARRIED.
THERE BEING NO FURTHER DISCUSSION A MOTION WAS MADE TO ADJOURN AND
THERE BEING NO OBJECTIONS THE MOTION BY ROLL CALL VOTE CARRIED.
