NEW BUSINESS
Mr. J. Patrick Michaels of the TM Communications Company addressed
the Council and announced that his company had been awarded a
contract with the city of New Smyrna Beach at their meeting held
Thursday, May 28, 1970.
Mr. Michaels urged the Council to reconsider the prospect of cable
teaevision for the Edgewater area. He also advised that should
the Council accept a contract with his company, the same provisions;

now spelled out in the contract with New Smyrna Beach.
After a brief question and answer period between the Council and Mr.
Michaels, Councilman Lodico duly moved to instruct the City Attorney,
Charles A. Hall, to meet with departmental heads of the TM Commun-
ications Company to draw up a contract to be presented at a future
Council Meeting. Said motion was seconded by Councilman Dietz
and upon roll call vote, said motion CARRIED.
