Edgowator to bocomo a member of that Loaguo. Councilman Todd movo that tho Town of
Edgowater, bocome a member of that Loague and that tho Clerk mail the Loague a
warrant for ton dollars( $~O.OO' for duos for tho year 1950, sooonded by Counoil-

Clark read a letter form tho Business MOns Assciation offering to solI tho 44
chairs now in the Town Hall for $3.00 a pioco. Councilman Todd moved that the
Town purehaso those chairs from tho Business Mons Association. This motion was
not socondod.
A lottor from tho Businoss Mons Association regarding tho selling of boer on
Sunday in tho Town of Edgowater, and asking the Council to consider the amonding
of the exsiting ordinance to pormit tho selling of beer on Sundays. After some
discussion and despite a plea by Councilm~n Kuhlhoff that this ordinanco bo en-
forced rather than amended, Councilman Todd moved that ordinance lio.161 bo amended
to permit the selling of boor aftor 2:00 P. M. on Sundays and that Attorney French
draw up this amendment, socondod by M~yor-Councilmnn Fuller and by voto CARRIED,

mont for tho fire department, such as a portable pump capable of pumping directly
on a fire or tho quick fill ing of tho tank on tho fire truck, a comploto first .aid
kit and the neod of somo typo of fire alarm. 1tr. Hanson also asked tho Council to
contact Commissioner Saxon to seo if sump hol'1s could not bo made at vital points
~ whoro tho fire truck could fill tho water tank or the wator could be used direct
ly on thofiro. Council agreod to givQ consideration to theso m~ttors.

Councilm~n Todd moved that Attorney French start proceedings to recover the Town
pronorty now in possossion of Jack Edio. A discussion followed in w~ich was
brought out tho fact that this nction would cost the Town at least $100.00 and
extra costs. Councilman Todd withdrew his motion. Attornoy French suggested that
he contact Attorney Selden in an endeavor to rogain this property and if not
successful,thnt the repossossion of this pronerty bp included with ths sdit al-
ready filed against the Town. Council agreed.
Councilm~n Kuhlhoff moved that tho 10 per cent utility tax be roduced to 5 per
cent. this motion was not soconded.
Thore baing no further business Councilman Todd moved that wo do now ad~ourn,
seconded by Ceuncilman Kuhlhoff and by vote CARRIED.
