tho mooting but wore comments of tho public and the Council. No action was takon.

Town is charging moro than 5~; of what tho Stato charges. According to tho Stato
tax the amount chargod is corroct. Attornoy Hawkins to roport on this matter at
tho next regular meoting.;

A letter from Mrs. Ruby Lewis saying that Lot 30 Edgewator Highlands was not
satisfactory to hor as an exchango for her lot. A letter from tho Firo Departmont
stating that upon oxaminonation of thero rocords thoy find they have no claim an
tho c~airs now in the Town Hall. Lotters from tho Amorican M~rsh Pumps and HalQ
Fire pump Co., in reply to lettors from tho Town roquesting a domonstration ofthicr
pumps. Amorican M~rsh Pumps will arrango for a domonstration of thior pump in
~dgowatcr. Hale Fire Pump Co has no demonstrator in this locality.

Councilman Todd moved that tho Town Clerk's offico bo olosgd Monday thru Friday
in the morning and be open Monday thru Friday in tho aftornoon also Saturday morn-t
ing. This was for tho purposo of allowing tho clark uninto'rrupt time for tho
business of tho offico and such othor"'tlctivi tics as was fol t should be attached to
