Marshal Thomas reported that an average of 25 children used the bus provided New Smyrna Beach to take them to Coronado Beach. Attorney Hawkins reported that the Town was not liable for any harm that might come to the children.lwhile on these trips or on the beach. Mayor-Councilman Fuller reported that City Manager Ferris of New Smyrna Beach was to send a letter to the Town of Edgewater, giving more particulars of this recreational program. Coun~il decided to take no action until this letter has been received. MISCELANEOUS BUSINESS. Councilman Todd moyed that item #7 of a motion made, seconded and carried by the Town Council of the TO'1n of Edgewater, Florida held on July 21st, 1942 designating the duties of the Town Marshal be rescinded, thereby releiving the Marshal from any .duties as Fire Marshal or Fire Chief in the Town of Edgewater, seconded by Mayer-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED. Alvarez Grant is a dangerous fire hazzard besides harQoring snakes and animals. Councilman Todd moved that the Clerk send a .notice of the condition of this to the owner and demand that he clean up this property with in l5 days after receiving this notice by registered mail or the Town of Edgewater will enter this property and proceed to clean up this lot and charge the costs to the o\~er on the tax roll of Edgewater, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED.
