RESOLUTION
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE ,
SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA, ON THE 17TH OF JULY, A. D. 1951, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF
ELECTION TO THE TOWN OFFICER CHOSEN AT SAID
ELECT ION.
BE IT BESOt VED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That from the canvass of the Returnee, it is hereby
declared that the result of the Special Election held in the
Town of Edgewater, F.lorida, on July 17th, 1951, is as follows:
FOR TOWN COUNCILMAN TO SERVE FOR THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF H. C.
KUHLHOFF, WHO HAS RESIGNED FROM THE OFFICE OF COUNCILMAN:

SECTION 2. That the Town Council of said Town does hereby
decl are that
John H. Gibbs
received the
highest number of votes cast for the office of Town Councilman
for the unexpired term of H. O. Kuhlhoff, who has resigned from
the office of Councilman, and is hereby declared the regularly
elected Town Councilman of said Town to serve for the remainder
of said term or until his successor shall be duly elected and
qual if ied.
SECTION 3. That the Town Clerk of said Town be and he is
hereby directed to furnish one certificate of election to
John H. Gibbs
within one day
from the date of the passage of this Resolution.

The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by

Motion was duly seconded by Councilman
Fuller
and upon a Roll Call vote being taken the
same was declared adopted this 1 R)h day of July, A. D. 1951,
