RESOLUT ION DECLARING THE NOMINEES FOR THE
OFFICE OF TOWN COUNC ILMAN OF THE TOWN OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, TO BE ELECTED AT THE
SPECIAL TOWN ELECTION TO BE HELD JULY 17th,
1951, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PREPARATION AND
PRINTING OF BALLOTS FOR SAID ELECTION.
WHEREAS, petitions have been filed with the Town Clerk of the
Town of Edgewater, Florida, to have the name of Howard B.
Ranken and John H. Gibbs
plaoed on the ballot at the
Speoial Town Eleotion to be held on July 17th, 1951, forthe
offioe of member of the Town Counoil of said Town for the
unexpired term of Counoilman H. O. Kuhlhoff, who has resigned
from the offioe of Counoilman, and
WHEREAS, The said Petitions are in proper order and are signed
by the requisite number of qualified eleotors in said Town; now
THEREFORE :
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1.
That the names of Howard R_ RAnkp.n ~nn
John H. Gibbs
shall be plaoed on
offioial ballot as nominee for the offioe of Town Counoilman
of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, for the unexpired term of
Counoilman H. O. Kuhlhoff, who has resigned from the offioe of
Counoilman, and the said
Hnw~rn H, R~n~AD and
John H. Gibbs
are hereby deolared to be duly nominated
for said offioe, to be filled at the Speoial Town Eleotion to be
held on said 17th day of July, 1951.
SECT ION 2.
That there shall be printed 1000 offioial ballots
with two stubs at the top, with perforations so that both may be
readily torn from the ballot, upon unglazed white paper, for the
use of the qualified eleotors in the Speoial Town Eleotion
aforesaid, and that the said offioial ballot shall be in sub-
stant ially the following form:

SECT ION 3. That 300 Specimen ballot s shall al so be
printed for the informat ion of the electors of said Town,
which said Spec imen ballots shall be printed on colored
paper and upon said Spec imen ballot s there shall appear the
heading II specimen Ballot" instead of the words "Official
Ballot. n
This Resolution was read in full and passed by the unanimous
vote of the Town Council of the Town 0 f Edgewater, Florida, at
its meeting held on the ~ay of June
