MISCELLANEOUS.
Attorney Hawkins suggested a bond be made for the Deputy Town Clerk,
since there would probably be times when he would assume full responsi-
bility of the office. Mayor-Councilman Fuller asked that Mr. Tumblin
be contacted to see if an endorsement or rider to the present bond of
the Town Clerk would not be sufficient coverage. It was agreed upon
by Council that Mr. Shaeffer should be made a Notary Public to properly
fulfill his duties. Councilman Friedley moved that the Town pay the
fee to have these papers drawn, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller
and CARRIED.
