FLORIDA, HELD IN THE TOWN HALL APRIL 27, 1951.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 P. M. by Mayor-Councilman E. P. Fuller.

READING OF MINUTES.

The minutes of the regular meeting held April 11, 1951 were read. Councilman ~
moved they be approved'as read, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote
CARRIED.
BILLS AND ACCOUNTS.
The following bills were read:

Councilman Friedley moved these bills be approved as read, paid and be made part of
these minutes, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vpte CARRIED.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS.
Clerk reported that he had notified Joe Watkins that his lot in Highland Shores on
were a fire hazard and must be cleaned, but the lot in the Mary Shurr Est. was not
in need of cleaning.
Clerk also reported that 32 sign posts had been set and painted and were ready for
lettering.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS.,
The letter from the the ~ew Smyrna Beach Chamber of Commerce was again taken under
advasement. D. K. McGinnis was present and explained the details of this pregram
After a lengthly discussion Councilman Friedley moved that the Town of Edgewater,
pay the New Smyrna Beach Chamber" of Commerce $200.00 as the "own of Edgewater,fs
share of the expense of this program, seconded by MaYDD-Councilman Fuller and by
vote CARRIED.

Councilman Friedley moved that the Town Council meet on May 2. 1951 at 7:30 P. M.
