Declaring Results - Special Election - 0320-1951 - 03-21-1951 o ~ '.J v RESOLUTION A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION HELD IN THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, ON THE 20TH OF MARCH, A. D. 1951,t AND PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERrIFICATE OF ELECT ION TO THE TOWN OFFICER CHOSEN AT SAID ELECTION. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That from the .canvass of the Returnee, it is hereby declared that the result of the Special Election held in the Town of Edgewater, Florida, on March 20th, 1951, is as follows: FOR TOWN COUNCILMAN TO SERVE FOR THE UNExPIRED TERl4 OF W. L. TODD, WHO HAS RESIGNED FROM THE OFFICE OF COONC ILMAN: Carl Bley, Caltan Bane And Randolph C Tat10r Raymond T. Friedlev received Kay Lofton John Doe received Betty Grable Ruth E. Driskel received Robert Reinwald Frank Kiep received Joe Wipperman Ossie H. Burke SECTION 2. That the Town Council of said Town I vote each 290 vot es. I I votes. 1 I vot es. 2 1 vot;es. 2 I do es hereby declare that Raymond T. Friedley received the highest number of votes cast for the office of Town CouncUman for the unexpired term of W. L. Todd, who has resigned from the offioe of Councilman, and is hereby deolared the regularly elected TOwn Counc Uman of said Town to serve for the remainder of said term or until his suocessor shall be duly elected and qual ified. SECTION 3. That the Town Clerk of said ~own be and he is hereby directed to furnish one certifioate of election to Raymond T.
