ORGANIZATION MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA, HELD IN THE TO~~ HALL MARCH 21, 1951.
Meeting called to order by Mayor-Councilman E. P. Fuller at 7:30 P. M.
ROLL CALL.
Mayor-Councilman E. P. Fuller Present.
Counciblman H. O. Kuhlhoff Absent"'e.
Clerk G. C. Spargo Present.
Attorney A. E. Hawkins Present.
Marshal D. A. Thomas Absent.
Police Officer F. H. Norman Present.
Street Supervisor J. M. Wood Absent.
Clerk reported that the Election Board had delivered to him the Official Regis-
tration Book,Ballot box No.5 and the keys thereof and an envelope containing the
Certificate of the Clerk and Inspector of Election.
Clerk read the certificate of election, which is attached and made part of these
minutes.
Councilman elect Friedley presented his his certificate mf election and the oath
of office was administered by the clerk after which Councilman Friedley took his
seat on the Council.
A RESOLUTION entitled; A RESOLUmION DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL ELECTION
HELD IN THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, ON THE 20th OF MARCH, A. D.195l, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATE OF ELECTION TO THE TOWN OFFICER CHOSEN
AT SAID ELECTION.
The above and foregoing Resolution was introduced by Councilman Friedley, which

Motion was duly seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and upon roll call vote be~ng
taken the same was declared adopted this 21st day of March A. D. 1951, the vote of
Council on said roll call being as follows:
Mayor-Councilman Fuller Yes
. Councilman Friedley Yes
Mayor-Councilman Fuller 'surrendered the Chair to the Clerk, after which he moved
the nomination of Councilman Friedley for Vice-Mayor., seconded b~ Councilman
Friedley and by vote CARRIED. The Clerk put the nomination of Councilman Friedley
to vote and on roll call vote Councilman Friedley was elected Vice-Mayor the
result of the vote being as follows; ,

Councilman Friedley Yes.
A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THB TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, DULY
AND LEGALLY ORGANIZED UNDER THR PROVISIONS OF LAW APPLICABLE THERETO.
. It was moved the above and foregoing Resolution introduced by Councilman Friedley
and moved by him accordingly be adppted, which motion was duly seconded by Mayor-Cc
Councilman Fuller and upon Roll Call vote being taken the said Resolution was duly
.declered adopted at the official organization meeting of said Council held the
21st day of March 1951, the vote of said Councilmen on said Roll Call being 8S
follows: Mayor-Councilman Fuller Yes
Councilman Friedley Yes
A letter addressed to the Town Council was read by the Clerk as follows;
Hon. Mayor and Counci~
Gentlemen; This is to notify you that as of the above date I am resigning my
office as Councilman of the Town of Edgewater, Florida.
Respectfully yours
Henry O. Kuhlhoff.
Councilman Friedley moved this resignation be accepted with the proviso that it
be ratified at the next regular meeting of the Town Council, seconded by Mayor-
Councilman Fuller and by roll call vote 6ARRIED, the result of the vote being as
follows; Mayor-Councilman Fuller Yes
Councilman Friedley Yes

The business of this meeting was carried on with the knowledge that the resigna-
tion of the absent member of the Town Council was in the hands of the To'~ Clerk
prior to this meeting. All action taken at this meeting is with this in view.
Subscribed to by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and Councilman Friedley.
