Meeting called to order at 7:30 P. M. by Mayor-Councilman E. P. Fuller.

READING OF MINUTES.
The minutes of the meeting held Februar~ 2g, 1951 ~nd the special meeting held
February 28, 1951 were read. Councilman Kuhlhoff maved they be approved as read,
seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED.

Councilman Kuhlhoff movedthese bills be approved as read,
of these minutes, seconded by Mayor-60uncilman Fuller and
REPORTS OF OFFICERS.
Clerk read his cash statement and budget report for the. period February 1 to 2g,
1951.
NEW BUSINESS.
Mayor;Councilman fuller stated he had received a petition signed by owners of
property adjacent to the Archambault property protesting the type of building
being erected on the Archambault property. A discussion resulted in a motion
by Councilman Kuhlhoff that Riverside Drive south from Turgot Street to th~
south line of Lot 4, Assr's Sub., of Lowd Est., be restricted to residences only,
and that no building more than three feet (3') high be erected on the east side
of Riverside Drive, seconded b~ Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED.
Council instructed Attorney Hawkins to draw up an ordinance to this effect.
Councilman moved that the Council proceed to prepare the ballot box for the
election to be held Tgesday March 20, 1951, seconded by Mayor-Councilman Fuller
and by vote CARRIED.
Oouncilman Kuhlhoff moved that Mrs Francies B.Betcher be appointed an inspector
of election in place of Mrs. Harriett M. Wells who is unable to serve, seconded
by Mayor-Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED. .
The oath as Clerk of election was administered to Florence B Swiney and to Olive
Parker, Vera J. McLane and Francies B. Betcher as inspectors.of election.
These oaths are attached and made part of these minutes.

Clerk reported that 5 'absentee vallots had been voted.
Whereupon Ballot Box No.5 was produced and the. contents removed.
The following articles were placed in Ballot Box No~5.
1- Certified copy of Registered Voters.
2- Official Registration Book
3-2 Talley Books
4-2official return certificates
5-1 Blank poll list
6-4pencils
7-2 stick files
8-6 instruction to voters
9-2 envelopes for certificates of returns
10-1 piece sealing wax

12-1 envelope for ballot box keys

14-5 Absentee ballots

Whereupon Ballot Box No.5 was inspected by Council and found in proper order was
locked, sealed and signed by Council and Election officers.
The oath as Custodian of the Ballot box and the keys thereof was administered to
rlorence B. Swiney and Ballot Box No5 was delivered to Florence B. Swiney.
Councilman Kuhlhoff moved that P. B. Garrett be appointed Special Vfficer to
serve at the polls at the special election on March 20, 1951, seconded by Mayor-
Councilman Fuller and by vote CARRIED.
Councilman Kuhlhoffmoved that we do now adjourn, seconded by Mayor-Counc~lman
Fuller and by vote CARRIED. TIME 8:30 P. M.
